Popular television host Frank Edoho has revealed that one of his greatest fears is dying from heartbreak or emotional pain caused by a woman.
The statement comes days after his estranged wife, Sandra Onyenucheya, publicly accused him of infidelity, emotional abuse and financial recklessness.
Speaking during an interview on the YouTube channel Outside The Box, Edoho reflected on male vulnerability, emotional struggles and the kind of legacy he hopes to leave behind.
“I don’t want to get to heaven and be told that a woman caused my death — whether my wife, mother or daughter. I don’t want that to be how I leave this world,” he said.
The former host of the Nigerian edition of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire explained that he hopes to die fulfilled, knowing he made positive impacts in people’s lives rather than being consumed by emotional pain.
“I want to leave this world with a smile, knowing I brought joy to people. My only regret should be wishing I had done more good,” he added.
Edoho’s comments surfaced amid ongoing controversy surrounding his marriage. His estranged wife, Sandra, recently accused him on Instagram of repeated infidelity, emotional mistreatment, financial irresponsibility and allegedly pressuring her to terminate a pregnancy.
Responding to the allegations earlier, Edoho claimed Sandra had also been unfaithful and alleged she had an affair with singer Chike.
Although he avoided directly addressing the marital dispute during the interview, Edoho spoke extensively about the emotional burden many men carry in silence.
“Men go through a lot but rarely speak about it. Many suffer quietly and even take those pains to the grave,” he said.
He also disclosed that he once battled a severe emotional crisis for nearly two years without opening up to anyone.
“There was a period when I was in a very dark place, but nobody knew. I felt like the walls were closing in, but I had to fight through it myself,” he revealed.
According to him, years in broadcasting taught him how to hide pain behind a professional appearance.
“No matter what you’re going through, once you’re on air, you must smile and perform. But in real life, it’s not always easy to switch off emotions,” he said.
Edoho confirmed that he and Sandra had been separated for nearly two years before the recent public fallout.
